Seven steps to reduce cellulite
March 31st, 2008
Step one, smack that ass:
No need to wait for the gym to work on that circulation. Get up from your desk and pat your booty. While sitting in front of the TV do your favorite yoga moves. Do a handstand with friends, just for fun. By bringing out your playful side you get the blood moving, the muscles stretching, and you keep that cellulite from sticking.
Step two, stand up straight:
Your tall self will iron out those dimples on its own. If you slouch or bend in particular ways, your cellulite will be more obvious.
Step three, pull your legs around your head:
You’ve heard it before, but I’ll say it again. Exercise at least three times a week. Cardio is good for the heart and weights are good for the bones, but stretching and big, long movements are good for cellulite. Yoga, speed walking, and lunges are examples of exercises that get your muscles and fat moving the most. Don’t just do your routine. Consciously move in ways that reach these areas.

Step four, fake bake:
A tan will give the impression of smoother skin and a thinner body. Products like
Institut DERMed Body SolareSlimRx is a self-tanner that boasts tightening and smoothing too. Be careful though, a real tan from the sun will do the opposite of this in the long run. Avoid cancer, wrinkles, and obvious cellulite by sticking to the fake stuff.
Step five, pamper your bod at the spa:
Find a spa near you that has the endermologie machine on its menu of treatments. The endermologie machine uses suction to deeply massage tissue. With a series of treatments this machine will reduce the number of obvious dimples and your body will be smoothed out from head to toe.
Step six, now which products to use and which products to avoid:
There are two skincare products you must have in your cellulite reduction regimen. A scrub, which will increase circulation and a gel or cream that will work to tighten and smooth. Try these popular products.
Institut DERMed Body CelluliteRx LipoSmooth Body Polish
Cellex-C Cellulite Smoothing Complex
Step seven, always hydrate:
All skin fitness is dependent on water. Staying hydrated is the easiest and most beneficial step in your skincare regimen. Eight glasses are the minimum to keep all your functions flowing properly and to get all those toxins out of your system.
