The first positive affect of sun on your body is vitamin D with out the sun we would have to take vitamins D tablets. Because vitamin D helps us get calcium from our food and helps our muscles grow.

Ah, yes, the sun! I suspect there's some link between the creation of Vitamin D in response to sunlight exposure, and the liver's role in detoxifying the body -- some alternative psoriasis therapies are based on the assumption that psoriasis is just the body attempting to eliminate toxins through the skin, as a last resort after elimination via the liver has failed.

Hulda Clark, although labeled a quack by many, does cover this topic in her book "The Cure for All Diseases".
