Thursday skin facts — Sleep makes you look younger

Did you know that the more deep sleep you get each night, the longer you’ll keep your youthful looks?
This is because when you are in REM sleep your body produces human growth hormone, which aids in cell growth.
Human growth hormone does a number of great things for the body including weight management and maintaining strong bones. So with a good night’s sleep every night, not only will you have a slimmer waistline, but you’ll also have fitter skin.
Maybe that’s why they call it beauty sleep?
