Many heavy Diet Coke drinkers are reporting that after a week or two of cutting back on the soda their acne improved. Aspertame may be the culprit.
After visiting dozens of online forums the message was the same: “Now, after two weeks of drinking water I’ve gone almost a whole week without acne.”
Another reason that too much Diet Coke or any diet soda for that matter may cause acne is because the individual is not drinking enough water. Water is critical to any healthy skin care diet and without enough water our pores clog, collagen wanes, and our skin will flake. Regardless of how much soda you drink, be sure to consume plenty of water every day.
Research has proven that aspertame can cause things as serious as lupus and brain tumors. Aspertame is a series of chemicals that react in the brain. For most people there is no negative effect, but in many others the reactions can include memory loss, the sensation of a burning tongue, difficulty with weight loss, and other bazaar and deadly conditions. If acne prevention isn’t enough, let the other very serious conditions help you reconsider the amount of diet soda you drink.

I’ve had the luxury of using the Zeno Pro Acne Clearing Device for the last three weeks. I’ll admit that I was very skeptical at first; especially after spending the $180, but now I can confidently say that the Zeno Pro was a worthy purchase and one I would recommend to anybody with acne.
To use it, place the tip of the apparatus on the pimple and hold it there for about three minutes. Heat is emanated from the device, which is the trick. The heat destroys the bacteria in the skin that allowed for the pimple in the first place. If the bacteria is destroyed, then no more pimple.
I could not feel the heat on my skin. It was completely comfortable, though, a little awkward to use. But the more I’ve used the device the more comfortable I am with it. My skin was red after use, but within ten or so minutes that was gone.
Two out of the three times that I’ve used the Zeno I did manage to stop a pimple in its tracks. Within 24 hours of using the Zeno several times the pimple was gone. The third time I used the machine, the pimple did not go away but I think that was because the pimple was fully formed and had already been around for a couple days.
The trick with the Zeno machine is to use it at the moment you notice a pimple. Its almost as if once a pimple is there, its stubborn and won’t go away until its ready. But when its just budding it can be coerced to go away.

If you are like me, then you often find your fist resting under your chin or the palm of your hand holding up your head by your cheek. This is particularly bad for those with acne considering all the oil and dirt on your hands is being dug into your pores each time you touch our skin.
All this face touching isn’t good for maintaining the perfected make-up look either. Why go to the trouble if we’re just going to wipe it away with fidgeting and touching?
To avoid any extra breakouts or make-up ruin, follow these tips to keep your hands off your face.
One: Use a scented hand lotion. With your hands close to your nose the scent will remind you to find something else for your fingers to do.
Two: Keep a stress ball close by. You might not need it for stress, but you can use it to keep your hands busy and off your face!
Three: Every time you catch yourself with your hands on your face do five push ups. This will at least get you thinking about your habit, and it will get your triceps looking great too.
Four: Gently twirl your hair. Careful to avoid breaking off any strands of hair.
Five: Sit on your hands. When the urge overcomes you, force those offenders to stay away.
